Why I bake

I grind cardamom in small amounts because it goes dull within a week, and I use it with cocoa rather than vanilla. That pairing is the whole kitchen.

My proudest bake

The cardamom cocoa cake. Pods pounded the same morning, cocoa bloomed in hot coffee, and no icing hiding the crumb.
