This Privacy Policy explains how SOME BAKERS collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal data. SOME BAKERS is operated by SOME AUDACITY Pte. Ltd. By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Policy applies to personal data collected through the SOME BAKERS website, app, forms, onboarding flows, customer support channels, payments, and other interactions with the platform.

2. Personal Data We May Collect

Account and identity data

name, email address, mobile number, date of birth where needed for eligibility;
account login details, Baker onboarding details; and
identity verification information where required for seller onboarding or payment setup.

Order and fulfilment data

order history, billing or payment-related information;
collection or delivery details; and
communications relating to orders, complaints, refunds, or support.

Profile and listing data

bakery name, profile information, listing information;
ingredients and allergen declarations, reviews and ratings; and
uploaded images and content.

Technical and usage data

IP address, browser type, device information;
cookies and similar technologies; and
platform usage, clicks, pages visited, and diagnostic data.

3. How We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data to:

create and manage accounts;
operate and improve the platform;
process orders, payments, and payouts;
support customers and Bakers;
enable collection or fulfilment arrangements;
manage trust and safety, fraud prevention, and dispute handling;
verify identity where reasonably necessary;
enforce our Terms, policies, and platform standards;
send service-related communications;
comply with legal, regulatory, audit, tax, and enforcement obligations; and
send marketing communications where consent is required and has been given.

4. Marketing

Where required by law, marketing communications are subject to separate consent.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe function or by contacting us at info@somebakers.com.
Declining marketing consent does not prevent you from using core platform services where such consent is not necessary for service delivery.
The Company complies with the PDPA's Do Not Call (DNC) Registry provisions and will not send marketing messages to Singapore telephone numbers registered with the DNC Registry without express prior consent.

5. Who We May Share Data With

We may disclose personal data to:

Bakers and customers where reasonably necessary for order fulfilment, communication, complaint handling, or collection;
payment service providers and related service providers;
cloud hosting, analytics, security, customer support, and IT vendors;
professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors, accountants, or insurers;
regulators, law enforcement agencies, courts, or authorities where required or appropriate by law; and
prospective investors or business counterparties on a confidential basis in connection with financing, restructuring, or business transactions, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Overseas Transfers

Some of our service providers may process or store personal data outside Singapore, including in the United States and other jurisdictions.
Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transferred data is protected to a standard comparable to that required under applicable Singapore law.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, operational, or legitimate business purposes.
When personal data is no longer needed, we will delete it, anonymise it, or securely dispose of it in accordance with applicable requirements.

understand platform usage and improve performance and user experience; and
detect fraud and secure the platform.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

access to personal data we hold about you;
correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
withdrawal of consent for uses based on consent; and
information about how we use or disclose your personal data.

Where a right arises only when specifically required by law, such right will apply only to the extent and from the time that legal obligation takes effect.

11. Sensitive Identification Numbers

We do not request NRIC numbers, FINs, or copies of such identification documents unless required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish or verify identity to a high degree of accuracy, such as for seller verification or payment compliance processes. Where such information is collected, it will be handled with appropriate safeguards.

12. Data Breach Response

If a data breach occurs and notification is required by law, we will take the steps required under applicable Singapore law.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the platform with the revised effective date.
